"Really careful packaging and healthy fish"
My koi arrived the very next day, and I spent a minute just looking over the packaging because it was better than I expected. The bags were tied tight, the box felt sturdy, and even the little details like the water temp and how clean everything looked made me feel like they knew what they were doing. No leaks, no soggy corners, no weird mess in the box at all. The fish looked good right away too. You can tell they actually know how to ship koi safely.

"Great First Impression With the Selection"
My first impression was wow, they have a lot of koi to choose from. There were so many different colors, sizes, and price ranges that I didn’t feel boxed into just a couple of options. I actually spent a good amount of time looking through them, but in a fun way. Overall, the selection was really nice and the site was easy enough to browse.

"Healthy koi and better than most online orders"
I ordered a few koi from nextdaykoi.com and they actually showed up the next morning, just like they said they would. Compared to some other online fish orders I’ve seen people talk about, the packaging was really solid, no leaks, no bad smell, and all the fish were alive when I opened the box. They were a little stressed at first, which I expected, but after floating the bags and getting them into the pond, they started swimming around normally. The colors were close to the photos too. I’m giving 4 stars because one of them was smaller than I expected, but overall they looked healthy and settled in well.

"Good customer service when there was an issue"
One of my koi showed up looking rough, so I emailed them right away. They got back to me quickly and made the refund/replacement process really easy. No runaround, no strange excuses, just handled it. The replacement fish arrived healthy and active, which was a relief. Overall, I’m happy with how they dealt with the situation and I’d feel comfortable ordering from them again.

"Really smooth ordering experience"
I ordered from Next Day Koi the communication was great. I got my tracking info really fast, and the updates made it super easy to know where my order was the whole time. I had one quick question too, and they got back to me quickly. Isn’t that all you really want when ordering online?? No guessing, no sitting around wondering what’s going on?? Just a simple, smooth experience overall.

"Probably the right call to hold the shipment"
They ended up delaying my koi shipment because the weather got too cold. At first I was kind of annoyed having to wait, but i guess it was the safer move. The fish showed up healthy and in good shape, so I can’t really complain. I’d probably order from them again

"Prettyyy happy with my koi"
I ordered a koi that was listed at around 6 inches, and it showed up pretty much right about that size. It might’ve been a tiiiny bit smaller than I had pictured in my head, but it was still close enough. Overall, I’m happy with it!

"Fun auction, super easy checkout"
I won my first koi through the auction it went smoother than I expected. The bidding was easy to keep up with, and the updates were helpful so I wasn’t stuck wondering what was happening. Any extra stress would’ve been unnecessary because the whole thing was straightforward.

Checkout was quick, and the fish arrived healthy the next day. It was packed really well too. I’ll probably jump in and bid again soon.

"A bit of a hassle on my phone"
I had a hard time finding what I was looking for, like I kept checking different menus, scrolling through categories, trying the search bar, going back to the homepage, and still feeling a little lost. The pages themselves loaded fine, so that wasn’t really the issue, but checkout on my phone felt clunky and confusing. Things like entering my info, reviewing the cart, finding the right button, and moving between steps just didn’t feel very smooth

"Pretty koi, but I was a little disappointed"
I got my koi from nextdaykoi, and the colors were really nice in person, maybe even a little brighter than the photos. The white looked clean and the orange/red really stood out. The pattern was balanced too, not perfect, but I actually liked that about it. It’s a very fish overall, but I guess I was still a bit disappointed because I expected to feel a little more wowed after seeing it in person.

"Healthy Fish, But the Shipping Was Too Much"
The fish looked healthy when they arrived, and I thought the price was fair overall. But the shipping cost felt high. Like, the fish price was fine, no real complaint there, but the shipping just seemed too expensive. It kind of takes away from the good deal when the shipping is that much.

"Helpful advice before I bought, but still waiting on a quick apology"
I wasn’t completely sure which koi would be right for my pond, so I emailed nextdaykoi with a few questions before buying. To be fair, they replied quickly and explained everything in a way that actually made sense, which I really appreciated.
The advice felt honest and not like they were just pushing me toward the most expensive fish. They helped me choose one that suited my setup and the water temperature, so I felt a lot more confident placing the order.

The koi arrived healthy and looked just like I expected, so overall I’m happy with the experience. That said, there was a small mix-up in the communication along the way, and I’m still kind of expecting a simple apology for it. I’d probably still use them again though

I really liked that I could pick a delivery day that actually worked with my schedule. The fish showed up when they said it would, so I didn’t have to, uh, take the whole day off just sitting around waiting. I’m giving 4 stars because the tracking info could’ve been a little clearer, but overall it was a easy process.

"A bumpy start, but they made it right"
My order showed up with an issue, and I was stressed at first. I had been checking the tracking like every 20 minutes that morning while drinking cold coffee, so seeing a problem right away was not great. I emailed nextdaykoi and it did take a little while to hear back, but they eventually responded and helped sort everything out. The fish are doing okay now, swimming around like nothing happened, and the refund/solution they offered felt fair. It wasn’t a totally perfect experience, but they handled it decently enough that I’d probably order from them again.

"Helpful info made acclimating my koi easy"
I ordered from nextdaykoi.com and the koi showed up healthy and in good shape. I’ve bought fish from a couple other places before, and their acclimation and care instructions were a lot clearer than what I’ve gotten elsewhere. I was a little nervous about adding them to my pond, but I followed the steps and everything went smoothly. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the shipping updates could’ve been a bit better. Overall though, I’m happy with the order and would use them again...

"No surprises with shipping"
I appreciated that the shipping cost was shown before I got to checkout. It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s only fair to let people know what they’re paying upfront instead of springing it on them at the end. The fish arrived in good shape too, so overall I was satisfied.
